Dennis Branning and Duchess Smith announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Branning of Hattiesburg, to Kason Drew Smith of Hattiesburg.

He is the son of Beverly Guillory.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Beverly Smith, Donald Clyde Smith and Dorris Laird.

Miss Branning is a 2013 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center and a 2018 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, with a degree in business administration.

Mr. Smith is a 2011 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He studied information technology development at The University of Southern Mississippi.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.
