Gun on campus leads to lockdown at North Pike, Southwest
A North Pike student brought a firearm to the school campus this morning, prompting a lockdown at the school and Southwest MS Community College, according to a statement from Southwest.
The school reported that the student was arrested, and there were no shots fired and no injuries. The lockdown has been lifted.
The lockdown may have caused problems for some residents who vote at the Workforce Training Center on the Southwest campus.
