West Lincoln alum Jonathan Mathis recently competed in the USCAA Cross-Country National Championship for the Mississippi University for Women. The event was held in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in windy, 40-degree weather. A freshman, Mathis was the second member of his team to finish the 8K course and did so in a personal-best time of  31 minutes and 11 seconds.
