In her own words …

My name is Marley Ann Poole. I am 20 years old, and I am a graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center. I graduated from Loyd Star in May of 2018.

After Co-Lin, I am planning on attending Pearl River Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program in Hattiesburg. My ultimate goal is to become a PTA and work in Brookhaven.

At Co-Lin, I am on the softball team and as a freshman received First Team All State, NJCAA All-Academic First Team and Distinguished Academic All-State from the MACJC. I am in Phi Theta Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta and on the President’s Council. I also made the President’s List my first two semesters at Co-Lin and was selected as a Who’s Who.

I am the daughter of Shannon and Regina Poole, both of Brookhaven. I have a sister, Meagan, who is also on the Co-Lin softball team. I also have a little brother, Nathan, who is still at Loyd Star.

The person I admire most and look up to would be my mom. I admire her because she is always been a positive person and supported every decision that I have made. She has always had a very godly influence in my life which has helped shape me into who I am today.

I feel like one of the reasons I was chosen as Miss Co-Lin is because I am a local girl, and I know a lot of people around Co-Lin. I also live on campus and spend a lot of time out with other students making new friends.
