Funeral services for Mrs. Judy B. Payne are Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, Mississippi, at 11 a.m., with burial to follow in the McNair Cemetery in Fayette, Mississippi. Rev. David Fortenberry will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is at Franklin Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.

Mrs. Payne, 59, passed from this life on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 27, 1960, in Meadville, to Mr. Lawrence Bryant and Mrs. Peggy Brown Bryant.

She enjoyed quilting with friends and at home.  She was a devoted member of Church of the Way for many years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Lawrence and Peggy Bryant.

Survivors are her husband of 42 years, James Lee Payne; daughter, Sara Gillis; son, Justin Payne; brother, Johnny Bryant; grandchildren, Bailey Payne, Nathan Payne and Hayes Gillis; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Craig Strittman, Charles Strittman, Dallas Strittman, Nathan Payne, Hayes Gillis and Kael Bryant.
