If you’ve been itching to get your hands on a new library book, you can do so starting Monday.

The Lincoln Lawrence Franklin Regional Library System  announced Friday that the LLF libraries will resume curbside service next week.

Though the library will remain physically closed, members of the public can call their local library branch or place a request online using the LLF catalog at llf.biblionix.com/catalog.

All branches will be available for this service Monday through Friday. The Lincoln County Public Library in Brookhaven will be available from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Meadville will be available 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Monticello will be available from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

New Hebron’s branch will be available from noon until 4:30 p.m.

Instructions for pickup

• Patrons are currently limited to five items out at a time.

• Materials can only be returned through the library’s dropbox.

• A staff member will call when materials are ready for pickup.

• It may take up to 10 days for a material to become available if, for instance, it is in quarantine.

• When patrons arrive for pickup they should call the library and be prepared to provide their pickup location number, card number and date of birth.

• Curbside service is not available during periods of rain or severe weather.

• Patrons must wait for the staff member to leave their materials on the pickup hook. Person-to-person handoffs are not allowed.

• The library reserves the right to refuse service for cause.

The library is currently unable to get materials from outside the Lincoln Lawrence Franklin Regional Library system.
