A Lincoln County woman has died as the result of an ATV accident Monday.

Deputy Coroner Ricky Alford said the woman, identified as Bethany Roberson, lost control of the four-wheeler she was riding on Rogers Lane around noon and left the roadway, striking a fence. A passerby saw the wreck and called 911.

It is unknown what caused Roberson to lose control of the vehicle.
