A string of car burglaries and a couple of stolen vehicles were reported in the early hours of Friday morning in the area of South Church and South Jackson streets in Brookhaven.

Police responded to reports of two vehicles taken from the driveway of one residence, and multiple burglaries of motor vehicle contents.

Law enforcement reminds car owners to lock their vehicles, remove keys from them and not leave anything that may appear to have value visible in the automobiles when they are unattended, whether at home or in public.
