The West Lincoln tennis team has had much success over the last decade at the MHSAA 2A State Tournament. Fourth-year tennis coach Karen Rogers had similar expectations this season before COVID-19 ended the year just as it was beginning.

Rogers had six seniors in the program this season, a nice mix of veteran players and athletes who had come to tennis later in their high school careers.

“This was a phenomenal group of seniors,” said Rogers. “I really enjoyed coaching them, and I hate that our season got cut short. I expected several to make it to the MHSAA 2A State Tournament. I love each of them and know they have such bright futures ahead.”
