The Lincoln County Tax Accessor/Collector office will be closed through Friday due to a confirmed coronavirus test.

Friday evening, the office posted the following statement on its Facebook page:

“Due to a positive COVID-19 test amongst one of our staff members, our office will be CLOSED next week (May 25th-29th,) as we await the results of testing for the remainder of our staff. This will include the phone lines. We will update you as soon as we have instructions on moving forward.

“I apologize for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and your prayers for our staff and families during this time,” Accessor/Collector Blake Pickering said in the post.
