Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries Friday at 9:08 p.m. on I-55 South northbound at the 35 mile-marker.

Ambulance service

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 53 calls Tuesday-Thursday. Fifteen were transfers, with three in the city, one in the county, seven to Jackson, one to Hattiesburg, one to McComb, one to Lawrence County and one to Hammond. There were 38 emergency calls; 27 medical, with 16 in the city and 11 in the county; nine trauma, with two in the city and seven in the county; and two MVAs in the county.
