Graveside service for Barbara Ann Hayes Munn will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 30, at Riverwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Barbara Ann Hayes Munn, 76, of Brookhaven, passed away on July 27, 2020, at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

She was born on June 26, 1944, to the late Wash Rufus Hayes and Mattie Givens Hayes.

Mrs. Munn was a 1962 graduate of Brookhaven High School, where she was a star athlete of basketball, track and softball. She was a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church and was a devoted mother & grandmother. She will be missed by all that loved and knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and sister, Nita Faye “Mickey” Russell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Clark Edwards; daughters, Belinda Munn Cooley and husband, John, Donna Edwards Britt and husband, Jamie; brothers, Ed Hayes and wife, Becky and Joe Hayes and wife, Delilah; sister, Nell Baham; along with nine grandchildren, Allison Clark, Summer Munn, Will Cooley, Meagan Lecompte, Leanna Britt, Jay Britt, Samuel Edwards, Abigail Edwards, and Tyler Malone; and seven great-grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic situation, the family will have a private viewing with a public graveside service to be announced at a later date.
