BA Cougars wrap first week of football practice

BA head coach Ron Rushing and his staff have 39 players out for the opening week of practice ahead of their season opener scheduled for Aug. 21 at Sylva-Bay Academy. The Cougars put shoulder pads on Thursday and then went full pads on Friday. Rushing returns a veteran team of 30 players in 10th grade and higher after going 7-5 last season and losing in the second round of the MAIS 4A playoffs.
