Bogue Chitto senior quarterback J.T. McCaffrey keeps the ball Friday night for the Bobcats. The Bobcats dropped their season opener on Troy Smith against the Resurrection Catholic Eagles. BC tied the game 7-7 at the end of the second quarter but the second half was owned by the visitors from Pascagoula in a 23-7 win.

Resurrection took a 7-0 lead late in the second quarter before a touchdown by Bobcat senior Owen Anderson tied the game at 7-7 just before the halftime horn.

The visiting Eagles rely on the pass to move the ball and in the second half their offense along with some self inflicted mistakes by the Bobcats put BC in a hole.
