Football cancellations, changes

There have been a couple of area high school football cancellations ahead of the MHSAA regular season beginning tonight.
Lawrence County
The game between Lawrence County and Pearl River Central has been canceled. LC will begin its season next week hosting Jefferson Davis County.
Enterprise
Enterprise has been forced to cancel its first two regular season games, tonight against Richton and next week at Enterprise-Clarke.
The Yellow Jackets will now begin their 2020 season on Sept. 18 at St. Patrick.
Wesson
Also, a reminder that Wesson will play at Natchez High tonight. The Cobras had been originally scheduled to play at Mize but made the change earlier this week after a Mize cancellation.
West Lincoln
The West Lincoln game tonight has also been moved to Stone Stadium on the campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson. The Bears will take on Sacred Heart School from Hattiesburg.
