R.B. and Gerry Miller announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Markeia Miller, of Brandon, to Jeremy Bennett, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Milton and Vernita Bennett.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lucille and Jessie McCalup, and Edith and Glen Miller.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Issiac Mackabee, Inez Mackabee, James Bennett and Levada Bennett.

Miss Miller is a 2009 graduate of Brookhaven High School, a 2014 graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College, a 2017 graduate of William Carey University and a 2020 graduate of Alcorn State University, with degrees in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse.

Mr. Bennett is a 2005 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a 2013 graduate of Iowa Central Community College with a degree if professional semi-truck driving. He is employed as a professional driver.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, in Brookhaven.
