Allen and Shannon Welch of Mendenhall and David Hanna of Silver Creek are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lila Grace Hanna, to Levi Holmes Redd. He is the son of Byron and Renea Redd of Bogue Chitto.

Miss Hanna is a 2016 graduate of Mendenhall High School and a 2019 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is currently employed at Baptist Hospital as a registered nurse. Hanna is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Sones of Carson, Mississippi, and Rev. and Mrs. David Hanna of Magee, Mississippi.

Redd is a 2016 graduate of Loyd Star High School, a 2018 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and is currently attending Mississippi State University where he is pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He is currently employed at Garver Engineering. Levi is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Redd of Bogue Chitto, Wayne Sasser of Blackshear, Georgia, and Beth Sasser of Bogue Chitto.

The couple will be united in marriage on Oct. 17, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. at the home of the bride in Mendenhall, Mississippi. All friends and family are invited to attend.
