Services for Mrs. Hattie Marilyn Case Barrett will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the services starting at 9:30 a.m. till service time at 11 a.m.

Hattie Marilyn Case Barrett, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 26, 2020. She was born on February 11, 1936, to Zollie May Case and Ruby Lee Smith Case.

Mrs. Barrett was a substitute teacher for many years and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She loved her family, ’40s and Gospel Music, watching football, reading and traveling.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Zollie and Ruby Case; brother, Clayton Case; Husband, Jack L. Barrett and son, Jack Kimeron Barrett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cody Bruce Barrett and wife Anna of Brookhaven, James Kelly Barrett of Little Rock, AR, and Connie B. Anthony and husband Terry of Maumelle, AR; brother, Gary (Butch) Case and sisters, Doris Owens and Irma Lofton. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
