Lawrence County school bus involved in wreck

A Lawrence County school bus was involved in a wreck Tuesday afternoon, but no students were harmed.
The Lawrence County School District’s Facebook page posted the following notice just after 4 p.m.
“At approximately 3:20 p.m. this afternoon, an accident occurred involving Lawrence County School District Bus Number 9, Carmel-New Hope Route.
“Sixteen students were on board the bus at the time of the accident. There were no injuries reported. Parents of the students on board the bus are being notified.
“The affected bus is drivable. These students will be transported home on this bus, but the remainder of the route will be delayed.”
