Tommy and Jennifer Stewart of Brookhaven announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Anna Kathleen Stewart to James Paul Davis, both of Hattiesburg.

He is the son of Stephen and Natalie Davis of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of the late Herschell and Edwena Price of Meadville and the late John and Elizabeth Stewart of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Bro. Wendell and Faye Davis of Brookhaven and the late Creek and Frances Woo of Savannah, Georgia.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. An honors graduate at Co-Lin, Stewart was a member of the Lady Wolves soccer and softball teams and Phi Theta Kappa. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is employed as an exercise physiologist at Forrest General Hospital.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Brookhaven Academy and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. While at Co-Lin, Davis was a member of the Wolf Pack baseball team. He was selected to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) Second Team All-State Baseball Team and to Who’s Who Among American Junior College Students. He attended Arkansas State University and Mississippi State University. Davis is employed with LGE Custom Tile in Petal.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. in Pass Christian.
