Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Friday at 10:49 a.m. on Hwy. 587 at Oak Grove Road. They also responded to a single-vehicle accident with injuries Saturday at 6:18 a.m. on I-55 southbound at I-55 southbound at mile-marker 47.

 

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 45 calls Friday-Sunday. Seven were transfers, with one in the city, one in the county, one to McComb, one to Monticello and three to Jackson. There were 38 emergency calls; 31 medical, with 13 in the city and 18 in the county; one trauma in the county; and six MVAs, with two in the city and four in the county.
