You may have needed an extra cup of coffee to warm you up this morning, with temperatures in the low 40s. That will change this week as temperatures slowly rise each morning, reaching into the 50s by the weekend.

Expect those same sunny skies through the week as high temperatures reach the upper 60s, to near 70 degrees and continue to warm up gradually into the low 70s by Friday, and mid 70s by the weekend. Winds will be rather calm with low humidity.

With recent dry weather, remember to use caution with any outdoor activities involving spark or flame.

Good chances of rain will not return into the forecast until next week.
