Services for Lt. Marzell Brooks will be held graveside 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2020 in Hillcrest Cemetery, Brookhaven, MS.

Lt. Brooks died November 15, 2020, at his residence.

A walk-through visitation will be held prior to services from 12-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Social distancing will be observed and you must wear a mask to view.

Marzell was born in Brookhaven, MS, March 28, 1962, to Willie D. Coleman and Clara Brooks. He was a 1982 graduate of Brookhaven High School, and was a public servant on the Brookhaven Police Department for a number of years. He was a member of Grace Community Church, Brookhaven, MS.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Undrea McIntyre Brooks; daughters, Chaunci McIntyre and Makhenzi Brooks; sisters, Jessie Ann Womack (Ray), Daisy Thomas, Tonya Brooks and Mary Brooks, all of Brookhaven; father-in-law, Al McIntyre (Ann); sister-in-law, Sebrina McIntyre Kelly (Steven), all of Brookhaven, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Clyde Coleman, Willie D. Brooks and Darren Brooks; and a brother-in-law, Larry Thomas.
