Memorial service for Mrs. Theresa Ann Boyte Dodd will be 2 p.m., Sunday, November 29, at Wellman Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dodd, 72, of Brookhaven, passed from this life Wednesday, November 25, at her residence. She was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, September 29, 1948, to her parents, Wessie Dee Boyte Sr. and Lavada Monte Kyzar. She was married to Donald Doyle “Donnie” Dodd and mother of two children, grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Dodd; her parents; and her sister, Tommie Elizabeth Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Donnie Ray Dodd and wife, Winter, of Magnolia, Arkansas, and Angela Beall of Carlsbad, New Mexico; brothers, Wessie D. Boyte Jr., of Brookhaven, MS, Edwin Dale Boyte, James William Boyte, both of Bogue Chitto, MS, and Ricky Dwayne Boyte, of Ruth, MS; sisters, Kathleen Bogard of Pascagoula, MS, and Bontia Nell Boyte and Linda Fay Davis, both of Brookhaven, MS; her four grandchildren, Chelsea Nieto and husband, Efrain, Chad Beall, Nicole Flores and Emily Ralson; and one great-grandchild, Everlee Nieto.
