The Brookhaven High girls’ soccer team won its regular season region championship for an eighth straight season last week by defeating Forest Hill 8-1 on the road. The Lady Panthers (7-3-1) will host an opening round playoff match next week. Members of the Ole Brook team are Aubrey Mayfield, Amy Mabile, Mary Parker Mason, Mary Taylor Francis, Morgan Moak, Taylor Levy, Maelee Thibodeaux, Caroline Kilpatrick, Sara Kate Teaster and Leyton Roberson, Ramie Stovall, Leslie Williamson, Lizzie Donegan, Maryanna Boyte, Hailey Breazeale, Quinn Boerner, Kortne Nelson, Maggie Shepard, Bella Embry and Caroline Speaks.

Head coach is Dustin Bairfield and assistant coach is Alex Hamilton.
