Beverly Ann Anderson King

Beverly Ann Anderson King, 69, passed away peacefully at St. Dominic Hospital on March 6, 2021, after suffering a massive stroke.

Visitation will be 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial at Zion Hill Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Beverly was born in Brookhaven, MS, on July 21, 1951, to Robert “Bob” and Bonnie Drane Anderson.

She graduated from Wesson High School, Copiah-Lincoln Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She dedicated her life to raising her two boys before returning to her alma mater as a teacher’s assistant.

Mrs. King enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her favorite four-legged companion, Buddy, and cheering on her Mississippi State Bulldogs. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and the Wesson Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Amber Elizabeth King; and her loving husband of 45 years, Randall King.

She is survived by her sons, Brian (Mandy) King of Wesson and Stephen (Leigh Ann) King of Tulsa, OK; her grandchildren, Collin and Hannah King, Jacee and Katelynn Palmer, and Lacie Sykes; her two brothers, Ralph (Martha Kay) of Gulfport and Jimmy Anderson Sr., of Wesson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
