Mr. Sedgie Elmer Herrington Jr., 67, of Bogue Chitto went to be with his Lord on April 14, 2021 ,at Baptist Hospital.

He was born on November 4, 1953, to the late Sedgie Elmer Herrington Sr. and Laura Louise Myers Herrington.

Mr. Herrington enjoyed cooking, working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church and will be missed by all that loved and knew him.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brookes Prestridge and husband, Cory; brothers, John Herrington, Ray Herrington and Roger Dale Herrington; sisters, Ann Jones, Doris Faye Teaster and Margie McCaffrey; three grandchildren, Grayson Prestridge, Lexi Prestridge and Ady Prestridge; nieces, LeAnn Waldrop and Kelly Grice; along with great nieces, Ramsey Caroline Waldrop, Milly Ann Grice and Merry James Grice; and great nephew, Collin Waldrop.

A memorial service was held 5:30 on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Riverwood Family.
