(AP) — An 11-year-old boy has died after being shot in what is believed to have been an accident, police said.
The shooting happened Tuesday night at a Vicksburg residence, The Vicksburg Post reported.
Police say they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Vicksburg police say it appears to have been an accidental shooting.
