Universities and colleges have published their spring honor roll lists with names of area students.

Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond named 4,1454 students to its honors list for the spring 2021 semester.

Kayla E. Ham of Ruth was named to the Dean’s List, with a grade point average of 3.20-3.49. Kalyn D. Chemin of Wesson was named to the President’s List, with a GPA of 3.50 or better.

Nelson Colton Newman, of Wesson, was recently named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2021 Dean’s Honor Roll, for students with a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74.

Named to the President’s List at Jones College, with grade point averages of 4.0, were Madeline Michele Miller of Hazlehurst; Sydney Ruth Pevey of Jayess; Rebecca Jamison Speights of Monticello; Scarlet Breann Russell of Silver Creek; Daniel Vincent Panzica of Brookhaven; and Katherine Lejeune Wallace of Brookhaven.

Students named to Jones College’s Dean’s List (3.5-3.99 GPA) included Anthony Jewel Buchanan of Monticello; Chloe Joann Riley of Oakvale; Chicago Loreanna Collins of Brookhaven; and Brady Everett Spring of Brookhaven.

The following were named to the Faculty List (3.00-3.49 GPA) at Jones College: Ashley Kay Holden of Jayess; Kendarius Jamal Feazell of New Hebron; Tyuna Darreyun Slay of Silver Creek; Amaya Gail Tavarez of Silver Creek; Braxton Rials Wallis of Bogue Chitto; and Zachary James Lester of Ruth.
