Much appreciation for the Brookhaven Police Department and the officers who escorted the funeral procession of Claudette R. George on June 8. Each stood at attention with dignity and his hand on his heart as it passed.

Also to the fine people of Brookhaven who respectfully  pulled over as we passed — a sight one does not often see in today’s hurry up world.
