A group from Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven participated recently in a World Changers Organization Project in Cleveland, Ohio.

World Changers is a hands-on missions experience engaging students in meeting needs of people in communities across North America. Students are able to put their faith into action by serving others and sharing the gospel.

WCO construction projects partner with local city agencies and churches to mobilize volunteers needed to help serve local residents. Participants spend a week serving on crews with other churches completing assignments ranging from painting and roofing to building handicap accessible ramps. Students are also trained on how to share the gospel, and have nightly worship and teaching times.

WCO community projects also include working with food pantries, children’s Vacation Bible Schools and other five-day projects.
