The summer has been one of success for the Wesson 12U Softball All-Stars. In June the team captured first place at the Fastpitch American Softball Association (FASA) state championship in Clinton. That earned them a spot in the FASA World Series played earlier this month in Pascagoula.

In Pascagoula they won the Rec Division Championship with a two game sweep of the Atoka All-Stars from Atoka, Tennessee and were third-place finishers in the C-Class division.

Team members include Blair Winscott, Preslee Newman, Kenslie Carter, Autumn Taylor, Gracie Sims; Lauryn Lee, Maddie Sanders, Mia Lee, Meagan Wilson, Nikki Berch and Jaide Shoop; and coaches Timbo Taylor, Mark Sanders, Marty Sims and Jamie White.
