Funeral service for Mrs. Vicki Land will be 3 p.m., Sunday, August 29, at Faith Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.

Vicki (Victoria) Arrington Land went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on August 26, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. A.C. Arrington: and a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Clark Arrington. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Michael Wayne Land; two daughters, Brandy Elizabeth Land Johnson (Marcus) and Megyn Michael Land Avedisian; and four grandchildren, Gayton Land Johnson, Cile Victoria Johnson, Michael Joseph Avedisian, Drew Scotty Avedisian; one brother, Luke Arrington (Martha); one sister, Ursula Arrington Ward; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

Vicki was a 1964 graduate of Brookhaven High School. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Vicki and Michael were married in 1969. While living in Shreveport, Louisiana, their two daughters were born. They then moved to Brookhaven where Vicki used her love of art not only through public and private teaching, but as a free-lance artist. Vicki was a faithful member of Faith Presbyterian Church serving in many capacities.
