Mr. Willie Monroe Thomas III, 42, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed away from this earthly life on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS.

Mr. Will was born in McComb, MS, on June 5, 1979, and was the son of Willie Monroe Thomas Jr. of Bogue Chitto, MS, and Cheryl E. Thomas of Magnolia, MS. Mr. Will was a jack of all trades with many talents. He worked from carpentry, painting, mechanic and yard work. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He was a people person. He loved to annoy everyone, especially his daddy. He would help anyone who needed it and never complained about it. His two children were his life and he was a wonderful daddy. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his by one brother, Lonzo Lavern Thomas.

He is survived by his parents; one brother, Christopher Little and Beverly of McComb, MS; two sisters, Marilyn Williams and Dusty of Summit, MS, and Susie Bailey and Trent of Ruth, MS; his children, Willie Monroe Thomas IV and Anna Bella Thomas, both of Meadville, MS, and their mother, Melissa Thomas; his special friend, Ashley Thomas; a special friend, Donald E. Rushing; two nephews, Chase Williams and Brittney, and Austin Bailey; six nieces, Cortney Williams, Madilyn Cothern, Malerie Little, Blair Little, Chelsea Wood and Dustin, and Caitlyn Bailey; and numerous aunts, uncles, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 5 PM until 9 PM and continue on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at New Life Apostolic Church in Summit, MS, with Rev. Kenneth Patten officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS.
