Funeral service for Rose Lanelle Nations will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Riverwood Family, with interment in the Bethel Temple Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the time of service at Riverwood.

Rose Lanelle Nations of Bogue Chitto, MS, went home on the morning of Nov. 7, 2021. She was born March 18, 1944, to the late Versie Ford Nations and the late Elsie Nations Brister.

She leaves behind her sons, Terry Waldrop (Andrea) and Brad Waldrop (Casey); her daughter, Kath Smith (Steve); her brothers, Curt Nations and Don Nations; her sisters, Sylvia Williamson and Jeanette Nations; eight grandchildren who were her world, Kayla Burns (Todd), Dusty Smith, Matthew Waldrop (Caitlin), Michael Waldrop (Carly), Drew Waldrop (Whitney), Tanner Waldrop, Emma Waldrop and Payne Waldrop; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 14 years, Roger Dale Waldrop; her husband of 37 years, Charles E. Nations; her brothers, Loyd Nations, Leo Nations, Carroll Nations, Rex Nations and Reggie Nations; her sisters, Imogene Brister, Gerley Williamson and Jan Smith; and her grandson, Hunter Waldrop, who she adored.
