Mr. Harold Ray Beeson, 87, of Jayess, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born December 1, 1933, in Lincoln County, Mississippi to Clarence and Cordelia Reid Beeson.

A visitation will be held at Providence Baptist Church in Jayess, Mississippi, on Thursday, November 18, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. A graveside service will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Harold was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force; his devotion to military service was exemplary. He also served as Captain of the Brookhaven Fire Department. He was a hard worker who was always busy as long as he was able to be. A dedicated member of Providence Baptist Church where he loved to serve — especially in the kitchen and by singing in the choir. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; he enjoyed spending time with his family camping, fishing and traveling — especially the family trips to Florida. He was a friend to many, and was known for his smile, laughter and “his hair.” He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
