Lawrence County head boys’ basketball coach Pat Bridges was recently selected to coach in the 2022 MAC North/South All-Star game.

Bridges, in his 14th year at his alma mater, will lead the South 4A/5A/6A Team on Saturday, March 19, in Clinton. Brandon Jennings of Petal will coach the team alongside Bridges.

Bridges is a native of Silver Creek where both he and his wife Cassie serve on the Board of Alderman. Cassie Bridges is principal of Rod Paige Middle School and the couple have two daughters, Jordyn and Lacie.

A former Daily-Leader All-Area, division and district coach of the year during his career, Bridges began coaching at Jefferson Davis County before coming home to Lawrence County.
