2nd Annual Stuff-a-Truck gathers toys for children

Children in the hospital during Christmas, as well as their families, experience the holidays in a much different way than those in traditional settings.

Non-profit veterans charity 5th Squad will conduct its 2nd Annual Stuff-a-Truck event Dec. 4 in partnership with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

New, unwrapped toys will be accepted outside Brookhaven Walmart from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. One week later, on Dec. 11, participants in the 6th Annual Ruck for Rugrats will march in a “fun ruck” 4.5 miles from Jackson Preparatory School west along Lakeland Drive to Children’s of Mississippi Hospital. Toys will be presented to families there.
