A 48-47 win over Loyd Star gave the Bogue Chitto Lady Bobcats first place at the 2021 Lincoln County Basketball Tournament. Both teams finished with identical 2-1 records, but BC earned the title after winning the head-to-head matchup. On Tuesday, Bogue Chitto lost a heartbreaker to Enterprise 42-41 on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer. Coach Marc Howard’s team bounced back to beat West Lincoln 50-46 on Thursday. Bogue Chitto will host Salem on Dec. 10 and travel to Wesson on Dec. 11. They’ll finish off this calendar year with three home games on Dec. 13, 16 and 17 against South Jones, West Marion and Puckett respectively.
