Jail docket: 4 arrested for DUI over weekend

Four individuals were arrested Friday-Sunday and charged with driving under the influence.

Ladarrius Dalton, 37, of 900 Williams St., was arrested Friday at 9:40 p.m. by Brookhaven Police and charged with DUI refusal, violation of the city beer ordinance and switched tag.

Saturday at 9:59 a.m., Mississippi Highway Patrol arrested Steven Gerard Thomas, 37, of Memphis, Tennessee. Thomas was charged with DUI first, improper passing, expired driver license and felony possession of a controlled substance.

MHP Troopers made two arrests Sunday that included DUI charges.

Craig Thomas Purcell, 25, of 618 Newman Trail, was arrested at 5:44 pm. He was charged with DUI first, no auto insurance, no seat belt, improperly operating equipment, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Abigail Wren, 18, of 583 Hunters Road, Bogue Chitto, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. and charged with DUI first, no seat belt, no auto insurance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
