A mobile home located in the 800 section of Denton Trail NW was completely destroyed by a Thursday afternoon fire.

Fire fighters from all available county volunteer fire departments, as well as Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies, responded to the early afternoon call.

County Forester Steve Williams and department personnel worked to extinguish the flames that spread to the wooded area behind the home to the south.

“There are other homes nearby, so we’re working to get this under control and out,” Williams said.

First responders did not identify the owner of the property, but confirmed that no one was home at the time of the fire.
