More severe weather likely Wednesday

Another round of severe weather is likely for Lincoln County and surrounding areas Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Damaging winds up and tornadoes are the primary concern, according to the National Weather Service in Jackson. Under an elevated threat, sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph are likely, with gusts up to 50 mph. Downed trees and power lines are possible, and travel may be difficult for high-profile vehicles.

The severe weather is expected to move through the area from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
