Rex Lumber in Brookhaven was recently presented the 2021 Work Comp Central Magna Comp Laude award.

Rex Lumber is one of only three industries in Mississippi to receive the award, presented to companies with no pending litigation in the state related to safety and its workers’ compensation program.

“I am very pleased that Rex was recognized for its very positive focus on managing its workers’ compensation program,” said Mississippi attorney Jim Anderson. “I see the operations of many different employers, and what Rex is doing makes it stand out very well. It is why (they) have no pending litigation here in Mississippi, and most employers cannot claim that result.”
