Betty Jean Quinn Wallace went to her home in Glory on May 2, 2022.

Visitation will be At First Baptist Church Summit, MS from 12:30 PM until Services there at 2:30 PM.    Rev. Larry LeBlanc will be officiating under the direction of Hartman Jones Funeral Home.

Betty 91, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was born October 14,1930, in Old Hebron, MS to the late Hollis and Leotta Quinn.  She lived there until she met the love of her life, R.B. Dunk Wallace.  Moving from there to Franklin County and then to Summit where they raised their family.

Betty was a true southern lady who loved God, her church and her family.  She always enjoyed a good family gathering with chicken and dumplings, lemon icebox pie and homemade ice cream.  She is now with her loving husband whom she followed to the ends of the earth, from ballgames to horse shows, and to the fishing camp (what a lady).

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, R.B. (Dunk) Wallace, her son, Bruce Wallace, her parents and three older brothers and three older sisters.  She is survived by her children, Gale (Emmette), Randy (Amanda), Mark (Melinda), and Bill (Laney).  Grandchildren, Kelly, Kayla, Reina, Chloe, Maryanna (Leighton), Katie (Alex), David (Liza), Mallory (A.J.), Emily (Jamie), Emme and Miriam.  Also, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Wallace, Emmette Knighton, Leighton Davis, Alex Price, Jamie Watts and A.J. Petitto.

A heartfelt thank you to a very special family member, Ms. Dorothy Bounds, for the many years of love and care she has shown to our family.  Also, special thanks to Ms. Bobbie Fultz, Ms. Audrey Crossley, Ms. Denise Ashley, Ms. Gina Gill, Ms. Pearl Turner and Ms. Betty Dickerson for the love and care they have blessed us with over the past six years.  Thank you to Hospice Compassus for the care given over these last months.
