Funeral services for Harold Ray Bowman will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Red Star Ward (LDS) Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Red Star Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Sones will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Red Star Church from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM.

Mr. Harold Ray Bowman, 86, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on May 16, 2022, at KDMC with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 24, 1935, in Lincoln County, MS, to Wilmer Edward Bowman and Euna Anding Bowman.

He enjoyed gardening, family history work and fishing. He had worked as a carpenter, a machinist at Keystone Seneca and an employee of Kelley Coppedge General Oilfield Co. Mr. Harold served his country in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960 in the 3rd Armored Division Spearhead. He loved his country.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Wilmer and Euna Bowman; wife, Dessie Monelle White Bowman; and his brother, Charles Edward Bowman.

Survivors are his daughters, Tammy East (David) and Sherry Hall (Brad); son, Tony Bowman (Becky); grandchildren, Bridgette Menendez (Kevin), Craig Bowman (Tera), Sam East (Katy), Kyle Bowman (Melissa), Callie Smith (Garrett), Hunter Grice and fiance’ Marissa, Taylor Cray (Nick) and Tyler Hall; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Paxton Menendez; Collin, Caleb, Casen, Austin Kate and Logahn Preslee Bowman; Gracie, Tucker, Eoin and Rose East; Layton and Lucy Bowman; Sophie, Justin and Tinsley Cray; and Josie Caroline Smith; and a host of family and friends.
