Doctor and Mrs. David Braden announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Ansley Bryce Braden of Washington, DC, to Matthew David Boylan of Arlington, VA.

Ansley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blaise of Brookhaven, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Braden of Tupelo.

Matt is the son of Mrs. Patricia Boylan and the late Mr. David Thomas Boylan of Kings Park, New York. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy McVey of Syosset, New York, and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Boylan of Syosset, New York.

Miss Braden is a 2012 graduate of Brookhaven High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics in 2017 from Baylor University. She currently works for the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC.

Mr. Boylan is a 2008 graduate of Kings Park High School and 2013 graduate of College of the Holy Cross, with a degree in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2016 from Georgetown University. He currently works as an attorney for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Butterfield Mansion in Brookhaven with a reception to follow.
