It’s time for girls to band together for the 11th Annual Girls Night Out event.

The beloved event – created to give local boutiques a boost in sales during what is generally a slower sales month – grew to include restaurants participating via meal vouchers.

Tickets are on sale now at the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and participating retailers. Advance tickets are $20 through June 11 and $25 the week of the event. Tickets include an official Girls Night Out T-shirt in hot pink this year, a beach tote, a coupon book with great discounts to all participating retailers, and a $10 meal voucher at the restaurant of their choice.

The coupon book includes one coupon good June 16 from 3-9 p.m. and a second coupon good at each participating retailer throughout the summer. This year 31 local businesses plan to participate.

The meal voucher is good June 16-18.

“Our small businesses are excited to host shoppers from Brookhaven and Lincoln County, as well as surrounding areas that come in for this event each year,” said Katie Nations, the chamber’s program coordinator.”

Bank of Brookhaven, Toyota of Brookhaven, The Brookhaven Tourism Council, Pike National Bank and Professional Rehab Associates are supporting this year’s event. “Through their support, we were able to keep ticket costs the same and provide quality products to each ticket holder,” Nations said.
