Funeral service for Robert Lewis Rothrock will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, at Riverwood Family with interment in the Red Star Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at Riverwood.

Mr. Rothrock, 59, passed from this life June 25, 2022, from King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Rockwell, North Carolina, April 12, 1963, to Arnold Gene Rothrock and Dorothy Ann Breeden Rothrock. Mr. Rothrock was a “gentle giant.” He worked at Milwaukee Tools for 27 years. He also was employed at Eaton Aerospace for 12 years. Working out was his passion and held the title of former Body Building Champion. He was a very friendly person and had an abundance of friends. A favorite pastime for Robert was watching NFL, especially the New Orleans Saints. He was also a beach lover, taking many vacations there with his family. Although he loved his animals, especially the family pet, Pepper, he truly cherished his family most of all. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kim Rothrock; sons, Korey Allen and Konner Allen; brother, Arnold Rothrock and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Margaret Grubbs and husband, Shane; Mary Donaldson and husband, Bill; one grandchild, Rose Marie Allen; nephew, Justin Rothrock and wife, Ashley; nieces, Hannah Gray (and husband, Aaron) Jordan Simmons, and Brooke Hammond. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
