The homeless or hungry are invited to enjoy a free hot meal today 5:30-7 p.m.

The meals are offered by CenterPoint Church — located at 504 West Congress St. in front of Exchange Club Park in Brookhaven.

Goody bags with hygiene products will also be given out to the first 150 people. Anyone who needs a meal can fix a plate and eat indoors in the cool air.

Games like cornhole, hula hoops and horseshoes will be available to play, and a time of worship and prayer will follow beginning at 7 p.m.

Also available at no cost will be waters, COVID tests and masks, and copies of the Bible.

“Everyone is invited to come out and worship and pray together as one community,” said pastor Ricky Breazeale.
