The Brookhaven Police Department has reported an increase in car burglaries in several neighborhoods in the city.

“(We are) investigating for the individuals that have been hit by these criminals,” BPD Detective Jonathan Hart posted on social media. “We are asking the public that if you live in these areas and have video cameras to check your video footage to see if these car burglars might have been caught on your cameras.”
